Overview
In the shoulder tilt drill, you will practice finishing your swing like a pro. Most amateurs don’t tilt their upper body to the right (or for long enough to the right).
Steps
Step 1: Watch
Watch the video.
Step 2: Normal Swing
Make your normal swing and hold the finish.
Step 3: Lay Head On Pillow
Pretend there’s a pillow directly to your right. Lay your head down on the pillow.
Step 4: Heel
Get your trail heel as close to the ground as possible, without touching the ground. This prevents the trial foot from being overactive.
Step 5: Coordinate
Coordinate all three moves together in one swing.
Step 6: Keep Score
Hit 10 balls (or do 10 swings without hitting a ball). Give yourself one point each time you can coordinate all three moves together in one swing.
