Overview
This is a drill taught by Johnny Miller. In the pro impact golf practice drill, you will practice the impact position that the pros get into. Most amateurs have a completely wrong feel for what the impact should feel like. The impact position is very different from the address position!

Steps

Step 1: Watch
Watch the video.

Step 2: Set up
Set up in your impact position (80% weight on lead side. Trailing knee goes into left knee. Hips open. Shoulders square. Hands forward of address position).  Hold the impact position for 2 seconds.

Step 3: Hold 1/2
Hold the impact position for 2 seconds, and ignite a half swing (waist-height to waist-height).

Step 4: Hold 3/4
Hold the impact position for 2 seconds, and ignite a three-quarter swing.

Step 5: Hold full 
Hold the impact position for 2 seconds, and ignite a full swing.

Step 6: Keep Score
Hit 10 balls for each swing (half, three quarters, and full). Give yourself one point each time you felt you got the impact position spot on.
