Overview
Great drill for gaining confidence with lag putts from 40, 50, and 60 feet.

Steps

Step 1: Watch
Watch the video.

 

Step 2: Tees
Set up tees 40, 50, and 60 feet away from the hole.

Step 3: Forty Foot Putts 
Hit 5 putts from 40 feet trying to get 4 out of 5 within three feet of the hole.
Anything inside the 3-foot zone = 1 point.

Step 4: Fifty Foot Putts
Hit 5 putts from 50 feet trying to get 4 out of 5 within three feet of the hole.
Anything inside the 3-foot zone = 1 point.
If you fail to get 4 out of 5 within three feet of the hole, start again with the 40 footers.

Step 5: Sixty Foot Putts
Hit 5 putts from 60 feet trying to get 4 out of 5 within three feet of the hole.
Anything inside the 3-foot zone = 1 point.
If you fail to get 4 out of 5 within three feet of the hole, start again with the 40 footers.

Step 6: Keep Score
You win the game when you get 4 out of 5 putts from 40, 50, and 60 feet within 3 feet of the hole.
