Overview
The distance control putting drill will improve controlling your distance on long putts to reduce the number of the score wrecking three-putts.

Steps

Step 1: Watch
Watch the video.

 

Step 2: Two Balls
Place ten golf balls 20+ feet away from the hole.

Step 3: Flag
Put the flagstick two feet behind the hole.

Step 4: Keep Score
Try to hole the ten putts. Make sure you don’t miss short or hit the flag. Try to improve upon your best score.

0 Points = Putt that finishes short
1 Point = Putt goes past the hole but doesn’t hit the flag
2 Points = putt goes in
