Overview
The closed stance golf drill will promote a more inside attack on the ball. Great if you struggle with a slice. It’s a favourite drill of many pros including Jason Dufner and John cook.

Steps

Step 1: Watch
Watch the video.

Step 2: Right Foot Back
Put your right foot back to approximately where your left heel is (will make you aim a long way right of the target). This will help you swing more across your body because your right leg is no longer in the way.

Raise your right heel slightly off the ground (this helps to loaded into the right knee).

Start the ball to the right of your target and draw the ball.

On the through swing feel like you’re hitting a topspin forehand tennis shot (turn the clubface over and impart lots of draw spin).

Step 3: Keep Score
Hit 10 balls. Give yourself one point each time you put your right foot back and felt like you were hitting from inside to out (draw swing).
